With a song in her heart and a lick of her lips she would direct her seafaring captain to the most bountiful catches and, on return, together they would dance a little jig of fishiness.
However, Julie ate too many of the fish and grew too fat and heavy to go to sea and so was replaced by modern fish-finding radar technology.

Julie used to be a salty old sea dog, turning face to the sea and setting out towards the horizon on her owners' fishing boat. With the spray in her whiskers and the wind in fur, she would sit proudly at the bow and sniff out the shoals of fish hiding in the briny hunting grounds.
